dbKids Nursery Activity: Today's Nursery Big Idea is God Made Light & Color. Genesis 1:3 says “And God said ‘let there be light,’ and there was light…” Show the children your flashlight and if you think they won’t be afraid, slightly dim the lights. Show them how the light shines on them on their tray or the walls or floor. Light is an amazing gift that lets us find our way. What about color? Point out the colors they are wearing and that you see in the room. How did God ever think up the colors of red, blue and green? How did He make our eyes so wonderful that we can distinguish between the many colors? God Made Light & Color.
dbKids Preschool Activity: Matching Game- Print two sets of the Matching Game printable and cut them out to make cards. Lay all of the cards upside down, with the pairs mixed up. Let kids take turns flipping them over two at a time to try and find the matching pairs. When they find a match, have them say one way they can spend time with God in that place.
