Today we are going to talk about family and the people that make up our families. We have daddies and mommies, grandmas and grandpas, brothers and sisters, and even aunts, uncles and cousins. Families are so important because when we’re in a family we can all work together to make life better and serve God. (Look at some picture of your family!)

FAITH REFINED, IDENTITY SERIES:
I have spiritual gifts from God.
Spiritual gifts are gifts given to every believer for the purpose of building up other believers. These are given by God and are to be used for serving others, not for drawing attention to ourselves. Spiritual gifts are different than talents or abilities. Every person has talents and abilities because they are made in the image of a creative God. Spiritual gifts, however, are gifts given only to believers for the purpose of encouraging and building up the church. Paul wrote that believers are called to live in unity—encouraging one another in truth, grace, and love.
