Who are Resource “Buddies”?
Volunteers with a heart to minister to children with broad ranges of special needs and/or disabilities. Must be at least 14 years old.
Volunteer during Sunday services and/or VBS (Vacation Bible School).
What do they do?
Buddies volunteer during Sunday services and/or VBS (Vacation Bible School).
Help give breaks to students struggling to be in class
Support the Resource lead with classroom activities
If a Buddy feels comfortable leading, they can teach adaptive lessons.
How do I become a Resource Buddy?
Already volunteer in DBKids?
Apply online or print a paper copy to give to our staff for review.

Complete the volunteer application (includes the Volunteer Handbook and the DBCC Statement of Beliefs. Then come back here to to submit the childcare application.
