What does DBKids Resource do?
1. Partners alongside families that are affected by special needs, disabilities, and socio-cultural struggles.
2. Partners alongside volunteers in the classroom to train and equip them to welcome kiddos who are affected by special needs, disabilities, and socio-cultural struggles.
How does DBKids Resource operate?
The “SIIP” Method
Creating a SAFE ENVIRONMENT. Be that emotional, physically, or sensory.
INTENTIONALLY building relationships with parents, guardians, and families.
IDENTIFY what supports are needed to assist.
PROVIDE support through classroom adaptations, providing breaks, or visiting Room 10 (sensory room and alternative learning environment).
